NL Circuit Simulator (introduction to NL5)
NL is free introductory version of NL5 Circuit Simulator. It uses the same simulation algorithm as NL5, same component types and models, and it can perform simulation with unlimited number of components.

However, NL user interface is very simple and limited, and it does not support most of the features, tools, and unique functionality offered by NL5. It also supports just a small number of component types and models available in NL5.
NL can be used to get an initial idea of NL5 operation: how to enter schematic, edit component parameters, perform simulation, work with graphs. Then you can either switch to full-functional NL5 or continue using NL for simple projects that do not require special components, extensive analysis and tools.
NL is very easy to use, and it would be useful tool for beginners, students, and amateurs.

Welcome to the NL5 Circuit Simulator website!
There are plenty of circuit simulators available on the market. Just read their ads: high performance, extremely fast, industry-standard (i.e. SPICE), easy to use, highly intuitive… Wow, sounds so good! Too good to be true, though.
Well, I'd be surprised to read anything different in advertising. I've written the same about NL5. Of course, it is easy to use, intuitive, and extremely fast: otherwise I would not use it myself for more than 20 years.
Don't trust ads much (don't trust me either ☺). If you want to see if a tool is worth using, try it yourself. That's what many NL5 users already did. I hope they will share their encouraging stories soon.
A few words about what should you expect from NL5. It is not one more SPICE (and not even close), nor is it a SPICE replacement. For some tasks NL5 is far superior, for others simply good, and some tasks are not for NL5 at all. Just use the right tool for right task.
I'll be glad if NL5 works for you. If you think it doesn't, don't hesitate to contact us or drop a post on the NL5 forum  : NL5 is quite capable and versatile, and it still surprises me. Might surprise you too!

Es sind viele Schaltungssimulationsprogramme auf dem Markt. Doch was sagt ihre Werbung: Höchste Leistung, super schnell, Industrie Standard (d.h. SPICE), einfach zu handhaben, intuitiv selbst erklärend… Ja, das hört sich wirklich gut an, zu gut um wahr zu sein.
Nun, ich wäre überrascht etwas anderes als das in der Werbung zu hören. Ich habe das selbe über NL5 geschrieben. Natürlich ist es einfach zu handhaben, intuitiv und selbst erklärend und auch extrem schnell. Andernfalls hätte ich es nicht seit mehr als zwanzig Jahren verwendet.
Doch vertrauen sie nicht den Werbesprüchen (auch nicht meinen ☺). Wenn Sie wirklich sehen wollen, ob ein Programm gut ist, müssen sie es ausprobieren. Das haben schon viele NL5-Anwender vor Ihnen getan. Ich hoffe sie werden ihre vielversprechenden Erfahrungen recht bald mit ihnen teilen.
Enige Worte über das, was sie von NL5 erwarten können. Es ist nicht einfach ein weiteres SPICE (nicht einmal ähnlich) oder ein Programm das SPICE ersetzt. Für viele Anwendungen ist NL5 einfach überlegen, für andere einfach gut, und für bestimmte Aufgaben ist es ungeeignet. Verwende das richtige Programm für den richtigen Zweck.
Ich wäre froh, wenn NL5 für ihre Anwendungen geeignet ist. Wenn nicht, schicken Sie mir ein Email oder senden ihre Meinung an das NL5-Forum. NL5 ist sehr vielseitig und hat viele Stärken. Es überrascht mich immer wieder und vielleicht auch Sie.

A titre informatif, il est intéressant de lire leur descriptif technique : haute performance, extrême rapidité, le standard de l'industrie (par exemple, SPICE), facile à utiliser, très intuitif ... Hé, ça a l'air bien ! Trop beau pour être vrai, cependant…
En fait, je serais surpris de lire quelque chose de différent dans ces publicités : j'ai écrit la même chose de NL5 ! Bien sûr, il est facile d'utilisation, intuitif, et extrêmement rapide. Autrement, je ne l'aurais pas utilisé moi-même durant plus de 20 ans !
Ne vous fiez pas aux annonces (et à mes dires non plus, d'ailleurs ☺). Si vous souhaitez tester un outil, essayez-le vous-même. C'est ce que de nombreux utilisateurs NL5 ont déjà fait. J'espère qu'ils communiqueront bientôt leurs témoignages encourageants sur ce site.
Quelques mots sur les performances de NL5. Ce n'est pas un simulateur SPICE de plus (il n'en est même pas proche), ni un remplacement pour SPICE. Pour certaines tâches, NL5 est de loin supérieur à l'offre existante, pour d'autres, il est simplement bon. Il existe certaines tâches pour lesquelles NL5 ne convient simplement pas. Il suffit d'utiliser le bon outil pour le travail à effectuer.
Je serai heureux si NL5 vous donne satisfaction. Si vous êtes déçu, qu'il ne fonctionne pas correctement à votre goût, alors n'hésitez pas à nous contacter ou déposer un message sur le forum NL5: ne vous méprenez pas, NL5 est puissant et polyvalent. Bien que j'en sois le développeur, je me surprends à découvrir ses performances et je gage qu'il vous surprendra aussi !

Tja, jag skulle bli förvånad över att läsa något annat i reklam. Jag har skrivit samma sak om NL5. Den är naturligtvis lätt att använda, intuitiv och extremt snabbt: annars skulle jag inte använda den själv i mer än 20 år.
Lita inte på annonser mycket (inte på min heller ☺). Om du vill se om ett verktyg är värt att använda, testa det själv. Det är vad många NL5 användare redan har gjort. Jag hoppas att de kommer att dela med sig av sina uppmuntrande historier snart.
Några ord om vad kan förvänta dig från NL5: Det är inte ytterligare en SPICE (inte ens i närheten ) och inte heller en SPICE-ersättning. För vissa uppgifter NL5 är vida överläg-sen, för andra är den bra, medan vissa uppgifter är inte passar för NL5. Använd rätt verktyg för rätt uppgift.
